HELLENIC-AMERICAN SHOUT OUT AT TEN TO MIDNIGHT

For Immediate Release: November 4, 2008

The election results for President are in, its ten to midnight, Obama is our next American President, and the Cyprus Action Network of America (CANA) called it this year. We endorsed OBAMA for President in early 2008, closely followed by large segments of the Hellenic American community.

 CANA’s line has been consistent, we will need to mobilize, enlighten and activate a new generation to shout out to the world that the Hellenic people will not live in fear.

There is a lot of work to be done.

Turkey’s lobby in the United States spent phenomenal sums of money on the primaries to endorse candidates that diminish the Hellenic identity and advance false historical revisionism, some of that money is spent in collaboration with the growing FYROM lobby that has recently  also established itself in Washington DC.

Tomorrow the Turkish lobby will pour millions more into America to buy the influence to bury Cyprus and Macedonia with their lies.

The Cyprus Action Network of America (CANA) needs to build on the strong successes of its recent actions, the time is now.
