NEW YORK--Our second annual July 20^th Hands Off Cyprus 2008, is gaining strength , this week end the National Herald news papers (Greek Εθνικός Κήρυκας or, older form, Εθνικός Κήρυξ) the largest Hellenic language newspapers in circulation, available in our homelands and throughout the Diaspora, published a half-page  in the political affairs section, covering our July 20^th protest notice in their July 12-13, 2008 weekend editions, here are the pdf reproductions of those protest notices in the Hellenic language:

• Buses have been donated to the community for participants to travel to our July 20^th demonstration in Washington DC, the buses will be free of charge to community members, please RSVP for a seat and for seats for your guests by calling Dionysios Pilarinos, the NY coordinator for the buses, at (917) 371-0214,  buses are scheduled to depart from NY early on the morning of Sunday , July 20^th 2008 from:

*An activist sent us a story from Cypriot newspaper Phileeftheros Online Cypriot newspaper, describing the personal tragedy of one poor woman who has funeral memorials for her husband, her father and her two son-in-laws on July 20^th, as an example of what sorrow and misery Turkey inflicted on Cyprus, and the pain that remains to this day:
